Air conditioning systems are fantastic when they are working well but often ignored until they are not doing their job. Air conditioning systems do require ongoing maintenance including:

  • Running the system at least once weekly in non-summer months to keep gas and oil circulating through the system which helps extend the life of seals in the system.

  • Servicing the system annually and replacing the receiver / drier every 2 years

  • Ensuring the drive belt is adjusted and in good condition.

Items that need to be checked to interpret operating functions and diagnosis prior to a car air conditioner service include:
